We mixed cocktails for 400 guests at the opening night of the The Art Hunter & Jaguar C-X17 concept launch. The exhibition was put together by Bill from The Cool Hunter along with The Artistry.

A 500m2 warehouse in Alexandria was converted into an art gallery using vivid colours from exhibition sponsor Taubmans

There was a wealth of great local artists including C.J. Hendry (above), as well #thewriting, Hollie Martin & Oliver Tanner.

The catering was taken care of by the ever talented boys at Studio Neon, Aaron Teece and Richy Chefron. With treats such as Warholesque Campbell's soup in a can containing fermented tomato gazpacho & prawn, as well as edible flowers in a pot and bone marrow tartare. It was a great pleasure working with these guys again as their food and vision is always next level.

The cocktails we served on the evening were:

Strawberry Blush - organic strawberries from the highlands blended with Egyptian Ice tea from Tea Craft, lemon and Bombay Sapphire with a Lantana mist.

Smoked Local Honey Margarita - local honey from Kings Cross thanks to The Urban Beehive, spiced with native Pepperberry and Wattleseed and shaken with Milagro tequila and Lime.

Lemon Myrtle Sherbet Fizz - Lemon Myrtle Sherbert mixed with fresh lemon, Grey Goose Vodka & garnished with Bottle Brush

Taste Of Coogee Festival 2013

Taste Of Coogee Festival 2013

Last week we mixed cocktails for the Inaugural Taste of Coogee Festival.  

Here we setup our bar on the grassy knoll next to the beach, carried our first class chairs down there and banged out Rock 'n' Roll from our Jambox while mixing tasty boozy refreshments. 

It was a great day all round, well organised, reminiscent of events in the old days where you could just wonder from the beach or the shops and have a drink or something to eat without being hassled by security guards, high fences and a whole heap of red tape.  

It was great listening to the Martini Club bang out beats to the sunset, then the wind came and blew everybody away to recovery. Let's hope this keeps up and it stays easy for punters to have fun.

Yelp Idea Bombing At WeCo Edgecliff

On Wednesday the 30th we wheeled the trolleys up to setup a mobile bar offering shots to the Yelp Elite contributors.  

yelp, yelp sydney, weco, idea bombing, yelp idea bombing, vodka, cocktails, party, mobile bar hireThe event was held at the WeCo cooperative workplace in Edgecliff, a great creative space with some open minded individuals. 

Here we infused Vodka for the event, using mandarin leaves from our garden, last season's dried peach stones and a little bit of foraged Blue Flux Lilly. Ben from Yelp put together his own concoctions, chilli infused butterscotch schnapps, as well as bacon infused vodka.
