Wylde Systems

Private residencies shaped by place.

Wylde Systems creates selectively hosted residencies for private groups, founders and leadership teams who want depth without spectacle. Each residency is shaped around the people coming: a remarkable private setting, deliberate hosting, seasonal food at a shared table, botanical hospitality, privacy, and time that stays unprogrammed.

Wylde Systems is responsible for the residency itself, from the first conversation to the last morning, and it is where every residency enquiry begins.

How a residency works

Botanical hospitality by Trolley’d

The drinks, built for the place and the season.

Where Trolley’d is engaged within a Wylde Systems residency, it brings the drinks practice it has developed since 2012. Native and regional ingredients with stated provenance. Botanical cocktails composed for the setting, the season and the group, rather than lifted from an event list. A non-alcoholic offer developed with the same care as the cocktails, because not drinking should not mean a lesser glass.

Preparation is done ahead, so service is quiet. The equipment, recipes, production method and service system are Trolley’d’s own, refined across corporate, private and destination work.

Drinks are paced to the residency. They sit between the landscape and the table, marking the move from the day into the evening, with temperature, light and timing held steady so the group notices the place rather than the bar.

Trolley’d is engaged per residency and named where it is part of one. Its brand, recipes, equipment and systems remain its own.

Three residencies

Three formats, each by enquiry.

Each is described, scoped and priced by Wylde Systems.

The flagship host place

Lake David at Lake Yarrunga.

Lake David is a private property in Kangaroo Valley, on the water at Lake Yarrunga. Open pasture runs down towards the lake, forest rises to the escarpment behind, and on cold mornings mist sits in the valley until the sun reaches it. The landscape does most of the work: distance from the usual noise, weather that changes the pace, and enough space for people to be alone within the same place.

It is a private setting, not a public venue. Privacy is built into the way a residency is hosted there rather than added to it.

Cultural authority

Cultural programming, held separately.

Where cultural programming is commissioned, it sits under separate cultural authority and is not presented or interpreted by Trolley’d.

Proof

Delivered, then documented.

A private pre-production residency was delivered at Lake David on 18 and 19 July 2026. Trolley’d provided botanical hospitality and Moonacres provided dinner. It was not a retail booking, and the guest contribution was a pilot contribution rather than a retail price. The record sits with Wylde Systems.

Questions

Before you enquire.

Is Wylde Systems a Trolley’d product?

No. Wylde Systems is a separate private residency platform. Trolley’d is engaged within selected residencies for botanical hospitality and keeps its own brand, recipes, equipment, systems and intellectual property.

Where do I enquire about a residency?

With Wylde Systems, through the private enquiry on its own site. Trolley’d does not qualify, quote or book residencies.

Can I book Lake David directly?

Lake David is a private property, not a public booking calendar. Residency enquiries go to Wylde Systems.

Can Trolley’d be engaged outside Wylde Systems?

Yes, for corporate activations, private events and destination programmes across Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. Use the Trolley’d enquiry for those.
